Norwalk

Norwalk was established in the late 1800s and became a city in 1957. It is a part of the Greater Los Angeles region and is situated 17 miles (27 km) southeast of downtown Los Angeles. 

Aquatic: One of the best venues for water sports and leisure is the Aquatic Pavilion in Norwalk, California. The pavilion, which is housed in a contemporary and welcoming setting, has a variety of facilities meant to suit the needs of guests of all ages and interests. 

Skate Park: For skateboarders of all abilities, the Calf Pasture Skate Park in Norwalk, California, provides a vibrant and interesting atmosphere. This skate park, which is part of the picturesque Calf Pasture Beach Park, offers a range of attractions and services geared toward the skating community.

Norwalk Library: Norwalk Library Norwalk Library started out in July, 1913 as the 17th branch of the Los Angeles County Free Library through the efforts of a committee of the Commercial Club. The collection of 500 books was housed in a second floor room of the Stiffler Building at 537 E. Front Street. In 1919, Hattie Sproul, a member of the city’s founding family, supervised the library.
