Cerritos is one of the communities that make up the Gateway communities of southeast Los Angeles County, located in Los Angeles County, California, in the United States. The date of incorporation was April 24, 1956.

Cerritos Park East: There are gaming and activity rooms in the 6,600-square-foot multifunctional California Room at the Cerritos Park East community center. A ballet barre and mirrored wall are features of the dancing studio. A lighted jogging track, playground equipment, picnic shelters, two illuminated basketball courts, four illuminated handball courts, four illuminated tennis courts, and three illuminated ball diamonds are among the outdoor amenities.
Cerritos Skate Park: Featuring twelve cement "street elements" (pyramids, snake runs, hips, bowls, and rails and curbs), the 90-by-120-foot park is designed for pedestrians. A wrought-iron barrier keeps skateboarders and in-line skaters out of the park. (Scooters and bicycles are not permitted.)
Iorn Wood Nine Golf Course: One of the best executive nine-hole courses in the vicinity is the City of Cerritos Iron-Wood Nine Golf Course. When available, players can hit off grass or mats at the lit driving range. Clubs and hand carts are available for rent. You may make reservations for the course up to one week in advance.
